Racing Against Drugs Durham and SASS:

The music and lyrics to Take the Wheel were composed by Andrew Cohen and Dave MacLean , music teachers at West Lynde PS and members of the School Association of Student Songwriters (SASS).

The partnership with SASS continued as Dale Russel, co-founder of SASS and former guitarist with The Guess Who, stepped in to professionally produce the CD at Action House Studios in Toronto.

Three former Dunbarton HS graduates, also SASS members, performed the vocals:

Tafar-i (lead vocals)
Joey MacDonald
Cierra MacDonald.

The Take the Wheel CD is highlighted at the Racing Against Drugs Durham event and has been sent to all schools in the Durham District School Board.
